OUR SCHEDULE THROUGH EASTER
I am excited about Texas Hope 2010. Our Executive Board has launched a very aggressive evangelism effort for 2010. The lostness in the Valley is overwhelming and we must get our hearts and minds together and in a unified effort to reach out to the lost and dying the Valley. Our Evangelism Team has worked hard and laid out the following schedule from now though Easter Sunday.
The North American Mission Board will be running a number of media spots on radio and TV all across the Valley March 15 through March 29. You can go to http://vimeo.com/7987759 and see an example of the material that will be aired. I hope that we don’t miss out on the mass media opportunity to get the message of Christ to the lost in our neighborhoods.
We all understand that we are Baptist and you will certainly use the schedule that will best fit your church. Here a schedule that we suggest.
- PRAYER -Now through March 13 we have designated as a time of intense prayer for revival. We suggest that cottage prayer meeting be organized, that the youth groups be encouraged to pray for their lost friends, that women and men’s groups be encouraged to pray and especially family units pray that our hearts be touched for the lost in this Valley.
- RALLIES – On March 14 at 7:00 PM there will be four Evangelistic Rallies conducted simultaneously in the Upper and Lower Valley. The purpose of these Rallies is to motivate our folks for evangelistic outreach and to invite the lost and to see folks saved even at the Rallies.

- DISTRIBUTION OF THE “WHAT’S MISSIONG” CD’S — March 15 through April 3. Each church will reach out to their community in the most effective way possible for them. Through the BGCT the “What’s Missing ” CD is available for $1.00 each. We hope to have a limited number available for a reduced price for the churches that can’t afford them. This is a CD that can be used as a DVD or placed in a computer or can be heard in a car radio which has a CD. There are testimonies in both English and Spanish and links to go get the entire Bible in multiple languages.
- EASTER SUNDAY – HARVEST SUNDAY –We pray that each and every church will be filled to capacity on Easter Sunday and that many lost will be present and that the lost would come to Christ and that all would rededicate ourselves to the Lord.
